All good things...

... must, alas, come to an end. "Emma" closes in St. Louis tomorrow. So if you're in town, beg, borrow, steal, cheat or kill to get a ticket to one of the two shows. But fingers crossed that this is not the end of the road for the show. Check back and see what's next on the horizon. For the time being, I'm hopping a flight to Vegas and Napa for some much needed R&R. In the meantime, to all who loved the show, thank you thank you. To all who have yet to see it... see ya soon!

Signing off til the next best thing,
E

Diggin' the Fall

...the fall season, that is. It's gorgeous weather here in St. Louis, as we approach the final leg of "Emma" here at the Repertory Theatre of St. Louis. The show is a hit here. And best of all, my fam arrives next weekend!!! In the meantime, however, there are some updates to peep here on the site.

Some more pics have been added to the "Pics" section. A couple more notches on the resume belt have been added as well. So if you've been here before, enjoy checking out some updates. If you haven't, grab a coffee, get comfy, put some "Project Runway" on in the background and take a look around. And if you're a Facebooker like myself (an unhealthy addiction), you can find the new "E Money" fansite started by one of the Webster collegiates in "Emma." Ok, I held a gun to my head and said, "Start the fansite. I need some grassroots PR." And it was done. It's amazing what some unhealthy threats can do.

Alright my puppies, time to prep for a matinee. One show today!!

Happy September!

Here we are- on the cusp of my FAVORITE season! I love me some fall, y'all. And what better way to usher in the crisp, cool air of fall than to come see "Emma" at the Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park? My thoughts exactly... what's that you say? You're in NY. How can you get out here? Hop on a Delta jet, and two short hours later, you're standing in line at the box office, buying a ticket to a FABOO new show, with amazing music, an incredible cast, and some of the best costumes I've put on my body.

So fly, run, train, hovercraft it over to Ohio to check us out. In the meantime, I'm going to enjoy my day off before opening week.

Ciao for now,
E

One door closes...

...another one opens. Time to turn the page, kiddies. "Beauty and the Beast" closed at the Gateway Playhouse on Saturday and now it's time for the next endeavor... I'll be playing Mrs. Elton in the new musical version of Jane Austen's "Emma" at the Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park and St. Louis Rep. Paul Gordon, who brought us "Jane Eyre", is bringing another classic to life.

So I'm heading out to Cincy for a quick jaunt in the 1800's. Love me some new works! Time to vegetate and catch up on Project Runway. Does anybody actually watch "Flipping Out?" Come on people...

Mrs. E.
